FAQs
Your gutters and downspouts move rainwater away from your home and help protect the roof edge, siding, and foundation. When they fill with leaves and debris, water can overflow or back up. This can lead to rot, staining, leaks, and even costly foundation problems. Regular gutter cleaning keeps water flowing the right direction and helps you avoid preventable repairs.
Common signs include water overflowing during rain, dripping at corners, sagging sections, visible debris from the ground, or plants starting to grow along the gutter line. You may also notice pooling water near the foundation or staining on siding. If you are seeing any of these issues, cleaning the gutters sooner rather than later can help prevent bigger problems.
Most homes should have their gutters cleaned at least twice per year. This is usually once in the spring or summer and again in the fall. Between leaf drop, heavy rain, and seasonal storms, gutters can clog faster than many homeowners expect. If your property has lots of trees, pine needles, or older roofing, three or more cleanings per year may be the best way to prevent backups and keep water flowing properly.
No, there is no need to wait until every leaf is off the trees. Once your gutters and downspouts are cleaned, they will drain properly right away. Light debris that falls afterward can often rinse through during normal rainfall. Keeping up with cleanings throughout the season is a great way to prevent clogs, overflow, and water problems.
Our gutter cleaning service includes removing debris from the gutters, clearing accessible downspouts, and confirming that water flows properly through the system. We also handle cleanup by removing larger debris from the property so your gutters are fully cleared without leaving a mess behind.
We take care of cleanup and leave your property looking tidy when we are finished. Larger debris like heavy leaf buildup, twigs, and any gutter growth is gathered and removed from the site. Small particles such as dirt or fine leaf bits may naturally settle into the yard.
Yes. We stay alert for common issues such as loose sections, sagging gutters, leaking seams, disconnected downspouts, and buildup that may point to drainage trouble. If we notice a concern during service, we will let you know so you can address it before it leads to more costly repairs.
Pricing depends on the size and height of the home, the total gutter length, and the accessibility of the gutter system. We provide clear, upfront pricing so you know what to expect before work begins. We are also happy to recommend a cleaning schedule that fits your home and budget. See our prices HERE.
In many cases, we do not recommend gutter guards because they can allow buildup to develop out of sight rather than preventing it. Fine material like roof granules, pine needles, and small organic debris can still work its way into the gutter and accumulate over time. Larger debris often collects on top and can slow drainage. Guards can also make it harder to inspect the system and clear clogs when they happen. For most homes, regular cleanings are the most dependable and cost-effective solution.
